Firstly, let me explain the new blog address, dhakirah [da-kee-raa] is an arabic term; describing 'someone who remembers God frequently'. Actually, not only do I want to remember God frequently, I am determined to always have God in my heart, always and forever, insya'ALLAH.
Blogskin.com is creating headache for me! There is more than a million skins to choose from, I had not made my choice of skin...still choosing while typing this out. I just cannot find the right skin which suits my personality!
*browse, browse*. Actually I am not suppose to be here. Suppose to be there *points at study table*, revising my Financial Management. I just got no mood to do read through those figures. !L-A-Z-Y!
Eh...so did u guys watched Singapore Idol? My father was so eager to find out who is the person Dick Lee asked to "just get out of here"! Apparently it was that Dwayne-guy, forgetting MOST of his lyrics. I am wondering where is that malay guy, who dedicated 'Solitaire' to his dad who just passed away. I did not see him in the final 30, he must have gotten the booT!
I did my first lesson with the children last Tuesday. And how did it go you ask me? Well...my mentor asked me the same question and I came clean..I told her about my lack of preperation and the fact that I did not try out the activity myself b4 teaching it to the students. Bad move! Anyway, I will be more prepared the next time I teach. My mentor complimented me about my lesson plans, they are "INTERESTING", *takes a bow*, thank you...thank you! Credits goes to crayola.com, for all the wacky ideas!
Finally! I found a skin...which is OK! Will use this for now. Will look for nicer ones, when I have the time.
