"MISSING"
Assalammualaikum,
"Kaifa Ha Lu Kum?"
You realized that it's been really long since I last wrote an entry? 41 long days to be exact. My apologies for letting my diary be barren for the past 40 days or so. I miss writing in blogger and miss telling you about my life. School's over, FINALLY! The exams paper were no good though. Actually, who else can I blame if I do fail the subject? "Serves me rite!" I really slacked a LOT this term. Been skipping lots of lectures and tutorials, got my first warning letter from the school and one lecturer even wanted to talk to me about my attendance, that's a first! I want to change for better next term, please give me encouragement, friends, instead of putting me down.
I have been watching the 'live' terawih from Mecca on RTM 1 at 1.15am, since it started. I really miss Mecca. I wish I was right there, amidst thousands of people, in Masjidil Haram. Now I know and understand when my aunts blabber about "missing Mecca and the holy Ka'abah". If I had $3000 in my bank account, I would go for another round of umrah, no kidding.
Back to reality. Been worrying about MSS's Iftar which is going to be on this 25th Oct. Since the orphanage peeps cannot join us for the Iftar, we are just having it among the members, as usual. And later in the morning, I and some others will make our way to Al-Ameen, to get them to sponsor us for our Iftar. I'm nervous, my first time meeting them and my first time asking for sponsorship. Thank goodness, Nas would be with us.
The time now is 2.21am, and the people in Mecca have done 16 raka'ats of Terawih, so I am about done watching them. I need my sleep. Waking up early to get to school tomorrow.
