.bus rides.

"Assalammualaikum
Kaifa Ha Lu Kum?"

It has been two days since I last blogged, missed me? That should be the case, usually. Hehe. So what happened on Sunday? Went to Pergas as usual, for my weekly supplement of religious knowledge. Since I knock off early from Pergas, I took 67 to get home. I know of many who dislike taking the bus cause of many reasons, mainly because the bus is usually filled with Bangladeshis on their way to Serangoon and the long travelling hour. But I'm different, I love bus rides, besides saving a little of my $$$ (since i'm on bus concession), I get to sight-see while in the bus and usually the probability of getting a seat in the bus is higher than in the mrt. When I board the bus, I will usually choose to sit on the left side, not because I'm being superstitious or anything but it's just much nicer. (u will find out why later)

As the bus move along to Geylang Serai, I got to see the gazillion of Malays at the bazaar. So many people! I got the urge to alight from the bus and join the crowd and buy some food for breaking fast but I changed my mind. The bus moved on. Up next, the red light district. *wee hee!*
You have to watch closely as the bus passes by Geylang Lorong 40 to Geylang Lorong 12. The activities that takes place there, you won't get to see at Tampines, Woodlands or Yew Tee. Very, very interesting. The 'anak ayams' will usually be at the lorongs starting from around 6.30pm to 'cari makan'. Scantily clad, they will be roaming around the place looking for potential customers. They are usually dressed in mini dress, mini skirts and whatever other miniS. If you're lucky enough, you will get to witness a 'business transaction' in progress. There was this once, I saw a straight line of about 5 women leaning against the wall of a building, and the women at the front of was showing her 5 fingers to this Indian men. I bet she was indicating"$50 for her service". Should be lar! All these nonsense that I have just spouted is just my account of what I observed happening in Geylang's 'red light district' while I am in the bus. Don't worry, I am still innocent! Have I made anybody interested to take 67 with me???

People, I am on a mission. My mission is to bring down my bill for the month of November. Got my bill for the month of Oct and it was for $103. My dad bising! I know it is a small amount to most of you, whom bills are usually $100 and above. But the thing is, my bill is never more than $50. And my dad bising because lucky me, my dad clears my bills for me. So, no more unnecessary sms-ing for me. And I will have to use more of my home phone to call instead of using my handphone. So whenever you guys call my handphone and your call is rejected, do not worry, cause I will be calling u back using my home phone, if I'm at home that is. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Agree???
