"why oh why..dear???"

Why, oh why my dear boy...you did what you did? I heard him promoting me to his guy friend in the bus. Told the guy I was from Pergas. Told the guy I could cook. Told the guy I will have no problem raising a child. WHY???

He caught up with me at the train platform. So there was me and HIM. He told me the name of his guy friend who by now is in the train heading towards Pasir Ris. He asked my age. Informed him. He told me that guy's age is 20. He informed me that his guy friend is a nice guy. I asked, "why are you promoting your friend to me?". He had a hearty laugh. Sungguh menyakitkan hati!

In the train towards home, he sat, while I stand. Not that he is not a sweet gentleman, it's just that I decline to sit. So instead, he asked me for my bag. Hehehe. Shy lar...let him hold my bag for me, so instead he held my thick library book on his lap.

His last words, "do consider about my promotion (on his guy friend)". And my last words to him, "DON'T YOU DARE BE PROMOTING ME TO OTHER GUYS!".

All the while he was promoting his guy friend to me. I just felt like telling him, "how am I suppose to like another, when my heart is with you...."
