love for ALLAH

"Bismillah..."

True Affection.

As for the affection desired by God, Exalted is He, it is the affection that never ceases for any cause or reason and that sustains itself without consideration of reward and benefit.

This affection is called hubb fi-Allah, love for the sake of God. One who loves for God's sake goes on loving even when beauty turns to ugliness, youth turns to age, health changes to sickness, and life is transformed into death. For this love is love for the sake of God. The beloved who is loved for God's sake is always loved. He is a sovereign of affection enthroned in the heart. This kind of love and affection is a trust from God, Exalted is He, to His servants. He loves His servant and causes him to love; He makes His servant feel affection. While He Himself loves His servant, however, He hides and conceals His love for that servant from His other servants, and does not always make those other servants love the servant He loves. He may sometimes make His beloved loved and respected. But he may sometimes have His servants beaten. When the servant who is being beaten exclaims "Allah! Allah!," He says: "My servant is remembering Me and seeking refuge with Me."

Those words were beautiful, I just had to share it with all of you.

Exams are finally over. Can finally rest this tired body, this exhausted brain and this overly-stressed eyes. Alhamdulillah.

Went out with my darling girlfriends right after the paper. We went to
Far East Plaze for dinner, watched 'The Eye 10' at Lido and took pictures of us at Boat Quay, Fullerton Hotel and the Esplanade.
It was great, posing for the camera with the girlfriends, ignoring weird stares from on-looking strangers. Haha.

Time check, 4.34am.
My sleep pattern will always change during school holidays. Will only sleep after subuh and later wake up at 2 - 3pm. Subhanallah! Will try to change this habit.

I have got nothing to blog about, actually. How's my new blogskin?
And dear readers, do check out my newly updated 'Islamic Sites', it has links to a few good and interesting Islamic websites. May the links be of good use to all of you.
And may you receive great knowledge from it. Insya'allah.
Fiamanillah, ya readers!

Why is my heart still yearning for you......? Subhanallah!

The ego is worse than seventy devils".
