the end of time...

Just finished watching a fantabulous movie, 'The End Times and The Mahdi', from Harun Yahya's official site, 'An Invitation to the Truth'.

Received knowledge about Imam Mahdi and the nearing of Judgement Day. Subhanallah! How could I have been so complacent.....

Imam Mahdi will be sent to Earth by ALLAH swt to put an end to unislamic doing in Islam and he will also lead people to the truth.

All of you should know, that the appearance of Imam Mahdi is one of the biggest sign of the nearing of Judgement Day. And there are already people claiming to be Imam Mahdi. Subhanallah!

The video showcased 9 signs of the coming of Imam Mahdi, and all of the 9 signs have been experienced by us....

I will try to recall the video and write it here...for the knowledge of those who are still unaware.

Sign 1: The halting of the river Euphrates.

The river Euphrates rises in Turkey and flows through Syria and Iraq and in 1975 a 210m dam was built over it and thus halting the river of Euphrates, as mentioned in the Hadith.

Sign 2: Lunar and solar eclipses during Ramadhan.

And yes, it has happened! The first happening was in 1401 Hijrah (1981). A lunar eclipse on the 15th day and a solar eclipse on the 29th day of Ramadhan. And the second happening was on the next year, 1402 Hijrah (1982). A lunar eclipse on the 14th of Ramadhan and a solar eclipse on the 28th.

Sign 3: A comet is born.

"Before he comes, a comet, spreading light will come from the East."

And in 1406 Hijrah (1985), the Halley comet, flew by past Earth, so near and so bright, that it could be seen with the naked eye. The Halley comet flew from the East to the West, just as described in the hadith.

Another indication of the coming of Imam Mahdi.

Sign 4: Bloodshed at the Kaaba.

In 1979, bloodshed happened near the Kaaba during the Hajj period. 30 people were killed in the attack between the Saudi troop and the militants who staged the attack.

7 years later, an even bloodier event happened during Hajj, which marked a death toll of 402. In this event, Iranian pilgrims attempted to hold a demostration at the Kaaba, carrying posters of Khomeini.

Sign 5: Fire seen from the East

During the Iraq and Kuwait Gulf war, huge fire was seen from the East, as many oil tanks were burnt down. The happening is compatible with the Hadith when it said "...fire will enfold you..."

Sign 6: War and massacre.

"Before the Mahdi, widespread slaughter will come to pass and great strife will be seen."

(Ibn Hajar Haytahami, Al-Qawi Al-Mukhtasar fi alamat al-Mahdi Muntazar)

In the past years, 2 great world war took 65 million innocent lives. Subhanallah!

And it is said that, "Mahdi will not emerge until innocent people are slaughtered and he will appear when the slaughter is finally unbearable on Earth and in the skies."

We have seen for ourselves, how innocent lives were taken away in the recent attack on Iraq. We witnessed it on television, we knew of it's happening.
War and massacre is common nowadays, an easy way to end political problems.

Sign 7: The killing of Kings of Sham and Egypt.

According to a recent study, the prediction made in the Hadith has actually happened. Many leaders in Sham (the countries on the left of the Hijjaz region), has been assasinated and one of them is Anwar Sadat who was assasinated in 1981.

Sign 8: The invasion of Afghanistan.

In 1400 Hijrah (1980), the Soviet army starts attacking Afghan. More than 10,000 people lost their lives and the country was in total chaos.

The prediction of the Hadith has came true.

Sign 9: The occurence of great & astonishing events.

"In his time (Mahdi), great event will be seen".

(Ibn Haja Haytahami, Al-Qawi al-Mukhtasar fi-alamat al-Mahdi al Muntazar)

A few of this great and astonishing events are; the collapse of the great Iranian monarchy in 1400 Hijrah (1980), a gas leak in Bombay which killed 20,000 people, war between 2 muslim nations (Iran & Iraq), identification of the AIDS virus in 1980, worst forest fire was experienced in China, Pope John Paul was shot, Ghandi was assasinated, more than a hundred thousand Muslims were killed in Bosnia and Kosovo and more were exiled, the outbreak of the Ebola virus, increasing violent earthquakes all over the world and many others.

Imam Mahdi will come when there's loss of the Sunnah, when there is increasing difficulty to practice 'am'r maaruf, nahi munkar', when what is forbidden is treated as lawful and when God is widely and openly denied (Atheism?).

We are living in the run-ups of Doom's Day.

We are living in the end of times and Imam Mahdi is about to come.
